Frequently Asked Questions
- What does the $29/mo Pro fee include?
- The platform fee covers the control plane: unlimited deploys (within 3,000 build min), security scanning, RBAC, 90-day audit log, scan-to-PR. You pay per running always-on app on top — a 1-app customer pays less than a 40-app customer. Static sites are flat-rate per traffic tier (see Static sites table).
- What's the difference between VIBSL managed and BYOC?
- Managed: your app runs on the VIBSL multi-cloud backend cluster. We invoice the compute. Available today, Azure is the first region under the hood. BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud): you connect a cloud account and the app deploys into your subscription. Your cloud provider bills you for compute, VIBSL charges a smaller per-app management fee. Azure BYOC is GA; AWS and GCP are in beta.
- What about static sites?
- Static sites have a separate flat-rate price tier (Starter / Growth / Pro). They run on Cloudflare's edge so bandwidth comes out of Cloudflare's pool, not yours. The Free plan includes 3 static sites.
- How does app sizing work?
- Each always-on container app has a size (Small → 2XL) based on CPU and memory. Pick at deploy time, resize anytime. See the App sizes table for the exact prices.
- Can I switch plans or resize apps anytime?
- Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or resize any app at any time. Changes take effect immediately and billing adjusts pro-rata.
- Is VIBSL production-ready?
- We're in beta. The control plane, build pipeline, security scans, SBOM, and Azure-managed runtime are all working end-to-end. We're not yet running customer production traffic at scale, which is why we say 'beta'. Cloud-credit reviewers and investors poking around the dashboard will see real deploys, not screenshots.
- What about a free trial of Pro?
- Beta access starts on the Free tier with all platform features unlocked while we onboard the early cohort. Pro pricing kicks in at GA. Request beta access on the homepage to get in.
